Alex Poorta, Racket Sports Director for Eichler Swim and Tennis

Alex, originally from the Netherlands, came to California to play and study at Saint Mary’s College. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Health Science. After playing professionally and attaining a world ranking, Alex found her calling in coaching tennis.

She has coached at the highest level including being a national coach for the USTA in 2017 and 2018. After a grueling travel schedule, Alex decided to start coaching from home and focus on all ages and levels.
