FACILITY RULES

  • Members must access the facility using their Proxess mobile key. 
  • Guests must sign in and have an annual liability waiver completed and on file or their access to the Club will be denied.
  • Guests are not permitted without a member present at all times. When the member leaves the facility so also does the guest(s).
  • Children (Members and guests) under 14 years of age must have an adult with them.
  • Member children ages 14 and up may bring up to four (4) guests (non-members) without parental supervision providing that the guest child has their own parents complete and have on file an annual liability waiver or their access to the Club will be denied.  
    • No food or drinks or gum are allowed in the locker rooms, at the pool edge, in the pool, or the tennis courts except for non-breakable water bottles.
  • NO Alcoholic beverages permitted on the property.
  • Glass is allowed only in the ClubHouse; infraction fines are up to $2,000. 
  • As a courtesy, please dry off before entering the ClubHouse, the ClubHouse bathroom, or the Kitchen. 
  • Children under the age of 14 may not be in the Club Room without an adult present. 
  • No pets, smoking, or weapons allowed. 
  • Respect the authority of the lifeguard on all safety matters.

SWIMMING POOL RULES

Deck 

  • Walk while on the pool deck; no running.  
  • Glass is allowed only in the ClubHouse; infraction fines are up to $2,000.
  • Non-swimmers and children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc must be walked and parked at the bike rack.
  • No pets, smoking, or weapons allowed. 
  • Respect the authority of the lifeguard on all safety matters. 

Pool and Wading Pool 

  • Proper swimwear required. 
  • Weak swimmers and non-swimmers must have a parent in the water within arm’s reach, even when wearing a United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved life vest.
  • No excessive horseplay or wrestling; no standing on shoulders; no hanging on a swimmer who can’t stand. 
  • No eating, drinking, or chewing gum in or around the pool or the wading pool. 
  • Members or guests may be asked by the lifeguard to demonstrate their swimming ability before entering deep water even if they previously passed the test. 
  • Treat equipment with respect:
    • Kick boards and buoys are for lap swimmers in lap lanes.
    • Toys are not weapons.  Water guns will be confiscated if used to squirt someone in the face.
    • One person per flotation device.
    • Do not hang on or climb over the lane lines.
    • Do not climb, hang onto, or sit on handrails, diving board, or pool cover rollers.
  • The wading pool is reserved for children six years of age or under with adult supervision. The adult must be within arm’s reach of the child at all times even when the child is wearing a United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved life vest. 

Diving 

  • No diving in the shallow end. 
  • No back dives or twists at any time. Front flips are okay.
  • Request permission to open the diving board or water polo net from the lifeguard.
  • For safety purposes, all diving board rules must be strictly followed:
    • One diver on the board at a time.
    • One bounce and jump straight out only–no side jumps.
    • Swim immediately to the closest wall or ladder (not any portion of the wall under the diving board).
    • All swimmers in the diving well, including the previous diver, must be on the wall before starting the next dive.
  • Starting blocks may only be used when supervised by an Eichler Swim Instructor or Swim Team Coach.

Lap Lanes 

  • Lifeguards have the final authority on the use of lap lanes.
  • Adult lap swimmers have priority in the lap lanes, but may be required to share a lane.
  • Organized groups of younger lap-swimmers (3 or more) sharing a lane will not be removed if an adult is requesting a lane to himself/herself. 
  • Non-lap swimmers may use the lap lanes if more than one lap lane is empty. 
  • Swim instructors may share a lap lane and not be required to move during the swim instruction time schedule.

    • (Sat & Sun 9:00am-3:30pm)
    • June & July (Mon – Sun 9:00am-2:00pm)
    • Aug (Mon – Sun 9:00am-3:00pm)
  • Report any issues of safety or discomfort in the lap lanes to the lifeguard or manager.
